'How to align text so that it is next to center of image Github markdown?

I am updating my profile README.md and have added a small image next to my project links. Now I notice that the text does not align to the center of the text.

The image below is what I mean:

As you see the text is at the bottom of the image and I would like to have it centered. Does anyone know how I can do this?
