'Internal app sharing without install button
Solution 1:[1]
Try these from top to the bottom:-
- You might have logged into multiple Google accounts under a user(owner) on your mobile. In this case, you can either log out from other google accounts except for the one which is on the email list of testers. Or, create a separate mobile-user on your phone and log into a google account which is on the tester's list in google console.
- You might have installed the same app inside another mobile-user on the phone. Goto
Settings > Apps & notifications > Your App
- Make sure,
Internal app sharing
option ison
on. GotoApp Store
>Settings
>Tab 7 times on "Play Store Version"
Then you will see the following option.
- Sometimes, cache needs to be cleared out. Goto
Settings > Apps & notifications > Google Play Store > Storage & Cache > Clear Storage/Cache
Solution 2:[2]
TL;DR;
- Change your Google Play account temporarily to other.
Long version
I tried all of the answers but with no luck. But I got the hint from them and tried to change my account. In my case, I have 4 accounts registered at Google Play, and two of them are registered as tester accounts. Here's the weird behavior, I changed to a non-tester account and it works but it doesn't when logged in to the tester account.
Solution 3:[3]
I have not tried this personally, but I think turning on developer options on both devices might help. I know this usually is only needed for USB debugging, but it might be worthwhile to try.
