name error: timeseries is not defined - how to set feature compatibility version to 5.0

Question

when I tried to run this, to create a timeseries for IoT sensors in mongodb:

db.createCollection("weather", {
  timeseries: {
    timeField: "ts",
  },
});

it returned:

NameError                                 Traceback (most recent call last)

      1 db.createCollection("weather", {

NameError: name 'timeseries' is not defined

when i tried to add feature compatibility following this link: https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/reference/command/setFeatureCompatibilityVersion/#definition

mongod command printed out a lot and exitted. I dont know how to configure this;

funny when i run this in mogosh

it said i have version 5 already
